This site is solely concerned with helping ex-offenders disclose their criminal records to employers, usually via job application forms.
With the start of a new year, many people try to make a fresh start with their job applications and having a criminal record to contend with is always a serious barrier to overcome.
By the age of 30, 1 in 4 people in the UK will have a criminal record. Do not be disheartened if you are one of them as there are a number of ways to move forward from this. If you include people with cautions, reprimands and final warnings on their record then the numbers are even higher. The majority of these ex-offenders are not hardened criminals. On the whole, they are everyday citizens who have discovered that even if their only offence happened decades ago, a record of it will still be following them around. It does not matter how many convictions you might have, or what they are for, we can help with your disclosure to employers.
Throughout this site The Rehabilitation Of Offenders Act 1974 will be referred to as The ROA 1974.
